These images from the Belmont neighborhood of The Bronx, often called the Bronx’s Little Italy. It’s an amazing place, like a small Neapolitan village tucked away in a massive New York City borough.
The pictures are from December of 2019, during The Before Times. I know that the neighborhood will endure – it’s been through a lot over the years – and my thoughts are with everyone there.
For those who are interested, I used expired 35mm Fuji Pro160s, pushed two stops for the color images, and expired 35mm Ilford HP5, pushed one stop, for the black and white.
